Our Infant Program

The youngest learners at Kids ‘R’ Kids are on their way to a lifetime of learning with our Infant-Toddler program. Infants as young as six weeks old are involved in stimulating hands-on play that helps them develop and discover new skills. Each activity your infant participates in will help her to achieve developmental milestones while in a nurturing and loving environment. We keep a low 1:4 teacher-to-child ratio in our infant room, well below the state required ratio of 1:6, because we know that quality begins with more teachers in the classroom.

Your baby will enjoy singing, giggling, reading, cuddling and, of course, Tummy Time in our safe, secure, state-of-the-art facility.

We introduce sign language to these little learners at 3-6 months old as they begin to notice and mimic the behavior and gesture of adults. This is an important element to their learning as research shows children who use sign language begin talking sooner and develop a larger vocabulary.

At Kids ‘R’ Kids you can be assured that safety and health are our top priorities. To help maintain cleanliness in the room, our staff and parents wear booties to help eliminate outside dirt and debris from entering the room. Each child is given their own crib, with crib sheets that are washed daily, and their own drawer to store personal items. Toys are sanitized as needed through the day and every evening using the state-of-the-art Zono sanitizing machine, a unique system that ensures the cleanest childcare environment possible.

Supplies provided by the parent include six to seven disposable diapers per day, along with any needed diaper cream or powder; a change of clothes; bottles filled with formula or mother’s milk labeled with the child’s first and last name and dated; and baby food.

Each child receives individualized love and attention and parents receive custom daily reports on feeding, napping, diapering, and other activities done throughout the day. At Kids ‘R’ Kids we are committed to seeing your child grow and develop in a healthy and caring atmosphere. All of our caregivers are trained and certified in First Aid, CPR, and SIDS training and participate in several hours of State required education to help ensure your child’s well-being.

Our Kids 'R' Kids Infant-Toddler Program includes:

  • A Comforting Place that focuses on love and trust
  • Teaching Sign Language techniques to maximize communication skills
  • Daily Exercises and activities designed to coincide with physical development
  • Daily Reports and Weekly Lesson Plans to keep you informed of your child's development

Adventure and Growth

Educationally and developmentally-appropriate learning centers provide toys that encourage imagination, creative thinking, and a whole lot of fun for your infant!

Weekly lesson plans provide activities to develop skills necessary to accomplish developmental milestones. Our extensive Infant-Toddler Sign Language program, which is known to eliminate frustration for children who have yet to form their verbal vocabulary, introduces age-appropriate language skills for non-verbal communication.

The Infant Program

There are four essential components to our Infant program:

  • Language Development
  • Physical Development
  • Cognitive Development
  • Social and Emotional Development

Kids ‘R’ Kids believes in balancing fun with fitness and learning with laughter. Communicating, crawling, creating and exploring, underscore the meaning behind developing the whole child.

Love and Laughs

At this tender age, there is no such thing as too much love, too many hugs, or too many giggles. As babies grow into toddlers and enter preschool and beyond, it’s imperative that they create strong bonds with families and caregivers. At Kids ‘R’ Kids, you know your child is being loved, nurtured, and cared for from the very beginning. That’s the Kids ‘R’ Kids difference - we are not just another daycare, preschool, or childcare, we are an elite Learning Academy of Excellence. Come visit us to see for yourself! We would love to give you a tour of our facility and a chance to meet our wonderful staff team.
